The company was formed on the 24/06/04 known as Manufacturing Metal Solutions. The company was founded by Mark Allen. It started in a small garage (leased) being only 45 square meters, the start up of the business was funded utilizing approximately $10k from Mark,s long service leave entitlements that had accrued over 21 years working with Smorgon Steel (now BlueScope).

Mark purchased a mig welder, a computer and some tools to start things off. Our first job was to fabricate and erect structural steel for a building in Howitt Street Ballarat known as Mathews Tires. Other than General steel fabrication of bins and excavator parts ect. The company had a passion for construction of buildings. The buildings consisted of many types from farm sheds, warehouses,shops to specialized recycling facilities and sound barriers for freeways.
